Woodglen Program

Our primary focus is the program of Alcoholics Anonymous because we know it really works. Woodglen residents gain an in depth, working knowledge of the twelve steps and are given the tools essential to maintaining long-term sobriety.

Our 90-day residential treatment program begins with a comprehensive assessment of each client. Both recovery and clinical staff work closely together to develop individualized treatment plans for each resident. There is no such thing as generic treatment for the addicted person.

Our detoxification facility provides a comfortable environment in which clients can safely and securely withdraw from the effects of drugs and alcohol. Our qualified staff provides 24 hr monitoring and care. Emergency medical support is available.

Phase 2: Primary Program – 30 to 45 days

Consists of intensive work with our residents. This includes daily education groups facilitated by the Program Director, our staff, guest speakers and a licensed therapist. Both individual and group therapy counseling are provided. All residents are evaluated on a continuous basis to determine completion of each phase.

Phase 3: Support – 30 to 60 days

Residents prepare to return to employment and financial responsibility. During this Phase, residents continue to actively participate in all program activities and provide encouragement and guidance for the newer residents.

Phase 4: Resident is referred to a less structured setting

The individual benefits from having a supportive, recovery-oriented environment. Reduced cost assists the resident in saving money towards re-entry to independent living.
